Why I Started Tulsa Growth Studio
I didn't set out to work in marketing. I wound up there completely by accident.
Starting at a local agency in an administrative role, I quickly found myself in charge of half the company. I spent years inside nonprofits and agencies around Tulsa, helping organizations keep things moving behind the scenes. Over time, those responsibilities grew into strategy, communication, operations, client management, and skills I had never dreamt I would possess.
The problem is, I've never liked marketing in the traditional sense.
I'm not interested in manipuliating people, creating noise, or convincing people to buy things they don't need. So much modern marketing feels disconnected from actual people and communities, and honestly, I think most people are tired of it.
What I do care about is helping good organizations connect with the people who genuinely need them.
I care about helping businesses communicate clearly, helping nonprofits reach the communities they serve, and helping organizations grow without losing the human side of what made them valuable in the first place.
Too often, creativity and meaningful communication get buried under day-to-day stress, inconsistent systems, and the pressure to keep up.
Tulsa Growth Studio exists to help bring some clarity back to that, through better communication, stronger systems, and growth strategies that feel grounded in real relationships and community.
